Xylometazoline Hydrochloride 0.1% Nasal Spray for Adults
What are the uses of Xylometazoline nasal spray?
Xylometazoline nasal spray is used in the nose to relieve:
- Nasal congestion (blocked nose including a cold)
- Perennial and allergic rhinitis (recurrent inflammation of the nasal mucosa, including hay fever)
- Sinusitis.
- Xylometazoline Nasal Spray contains the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride, which helps open and clear nasal passages by reducing excess nasal secretions and restoring swollen blood vessels to their normal size.
Do not use the spray if you:
- are allergic to xylometazoline hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients in the spray
- They are allergic to other decongestants.
- He recently had neurosurgery.
- Do not use this spray for children under 12 years of age.
Warnings and Precautions:
Tell your doctor about all of your health conditions, including if you:

Possible side effects

How to use xylometazoline nasal spray
For adults and children over 12 years: One spray in each nostril two or three times daily.
- Blow your nose.
- Lean forward slightly and insert the nozzle into your nostril.
- Squeeze the bottle once and smell at the same time.
- Remove the nozzle before releasing pressure on the bottle.
- Repeat with the other nostril.
- To avoid the spread of infection, this package should only be used by one person. For hygiene reasons, do not use this bottle for more than 28 days after opening.
- Do not take decongestants for more than 7 consecutive days.
How to store xylometazoline nasal spray
- Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
- Do not use after the expiration date printed on the bottle after "EXP." The expiration date refers to the last day of that month.
- Do not store above 25°C.
- Do not use this bottle for more than 28 days after opening.
- Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medications no longer required. These measures will help protect the environment.
